A. COLLECTION BOXES

1. Resistance: Should the collection boxes be cemented on the outside?
HIDROSTANK polypropylene collection boxes have a high-level of resistance, without perimeter cement, in excess of 18,000 kg, and can support rolling traffic of over 40 tonnes. Thanks to their incorporated ribbing system which shifts stress to the vertices (which have been reinforced with a tongue and groove system), standard HIDROSTANK models do not require exterior cementing. Whenever individual cases require cementing, HIDROSTANK will recommend this expressly in writing.

2. Are they watertight?
HIDROSTANK collection boxes guarantee watertightness in all standard models.

3. How is the watertightness of the collection box-pipe joint guaranteed?
Watertightness is fully guaranteed through the use of EPDM sealants which HIDROSTANK supplies for all diameters.

4. Can different connections be made and at different heights?
HIDROSTANK collection boxes are designed for adaptation to the specific needs of the construction, for which reason HIDROSTANK supplies collection box connection(s) with the diameter(s) and height(s) indicated in the purchase order.

5. Can the connections be made on site?
HIDROSTANK provides a tool which will allow you to simply install the connections on site, once the height levels or inclinations of the pipe are known.

6. How is the cover positioned?
The frame and cover (or grid) of the collection box, whether metal, concrete or any other plastic material, are positioned and covered in the traditional way, supporting the frame on the cover and then introducing the cement, asphalt, tiles, etc. For this purpose, HIDROSTANK has launched onto the market a series of models, the inside of which coincide with the interior section of the cover manufacturers.

7. Can the collection box be heightened?

HIDROSTANK's internationally patented modular sectional system was designed to provide a specific solution to all the problems which appear on-site. To this end, we can provide collection box heightening modules, which allow us to reach the necessary height level.
8. Are they resistant to acid and spillages?
HIDROSTANK's reinforced polypropylene collection boxes are more resistant to corrosion from contact with sulphur and hydrochloric acid than traditional collection box constructions (concrete or brickwork), and likewise to corrosion from contact with grease and other chemical products.

B. POLYPROPYLENE FOOTHOLDS
9. Resistance. Is it necessary to fill the holes of the footholds with filler?
HIDROSTANK polypropylene footholds are designed to guarantee proper attachment once in position, without the need for any filler, provided the boreholes made in the surface to be perforated are of 25 mm.

10. Can a straight foothold be positioned on a curved surface?
We recommend using the appropriate type for each surface, in order to ensure that the attachment is as strong as possible. To this end, HIDROSTANK manufactures several foothold models, both curved and straight, for different kinds of surfaces.
