The Flexible Weir is a mobile spillway that tilts according to the overflow rate. This results in a considerable reduction of the maximum water level in the network, while maintaining the design retention level at all times and reducing the risk of flooding.
1- At rest, the flexible weir is at the retention level according to the design.
3- As the flow rate increases, the level of the movable spillway decreases, maintaining a constant maximum water depth, until it reaches its design position.

4- In extreme relief situations, the movable spillway will be positioned at its lowest setting, allowing the maximum flow rate to pass. The increase in water depth will depend on the hydraulic conditions.
