HIDROSTANK SUPPLIES ITS NEW HIDROCRATE ATTENUATION CRATES IN THE “LE BOWLING” PROJECT, MERIGNAC (FRANCE)

HIDROSTANK has supplied its new HIDROCRATE infiltration boxes for the development of the public spaces of the B2/B6 block (site of the former avenue de la Marne bowling alley), as part of phase 1 of the public space development project of the Mérignac Marne urban project. The Marne Soleil project, of Bordeaux Metropole, aims to transform a vast commercial area into a pleasant urban space, where the commercial function remains essential. Thanks to the extension of tram line A, the development of several kilometres of cycle paths and the construction of housing, the project creates the conditions to welcome new inhabitants in the heart of Mérignac. The project also includes an ambitious renaturation programme with the planting of thousands of trees, the reduction of asphalted parking areas and the creation of cool islands. HIDROSTANK worked closely with the technicians in defining the sustainable drainage solution finally adopted. The new HIDROCRATE attenuation crate, with its column-based design, has a high compressive strength and is easier to install than previous models. The modularity of the new generation of HIDROSTANK infiltration blocks, HIDROCRATE, makes it possible not only to optimise both transport and storage at the destination, but also to size the tanks according to the needs of each project.
