Unfortunately more and more frequent thefts of cast iron covers, with consequent economic damage and safety risks.
For several years HIDROSTANK is offering the use of composite covers to both:
- new civil works, where plastic frame and cover are supplied,
- as in cases of existing works where the cover has been stolen. For this case, Hidrostank proposesr a customized cover that enables reuse the existing framework (mínimum order required).
Besides reducing thefts, plastic covers offer better ergonomics, increase pedestrian safety (as it is a non-conductive material) and are more resistant to corrosion
Also, since not shielded by the radio signal, can allow remote capture information.
